The Journal of Science and Technology Research (JSTR) is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available online to readers worldwide without any subscription or access fees. JSTR is committed to the principles of open science and the dissemination of knowledge to the global research community.By publishing in JSTR, authors retain the copyright of their work while granting the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the article under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).The CC BY 4.0 license allows users to:
- Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
- Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially
Under the following terms:
- Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
- No additional restrictions: Users cannot apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.
JSTR encourages authors to deposit their published articles in institutional or subject-based repositories to increase the visibility and accessibility of their research. Authors are also permitted to post the published version of their article on their personal or institutional websites.The open access model ensures that research findings are widely disseminated and accessible to researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and the general public, regardless of their geographic location or institutional affiliation. This aligns with JSTR's mission to promote the exchange of knowledge and foster scientific progress.JSTR has article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees for authors that will be paid by authors. The journal's operations are also supported by the Nigerian Institution of Professional Engineers and Scientists (NIPES)
