Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  • Manuscript Preparation:

    • Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word
    • The text should be double-spaced and the font size should be 12 point.
    • The margins should be 1 inch on all sides.
    • The title of the manuscript should be left sided on the first page.
    • The author names and affiliations should be listed below the title.
    • The abstract should be no more than 250 words .
    • The keywords should be listed below the abstract.
    • The main body of the manuscript should be divided into sections and subsections.
    • The figures and tables should be numbered and should be referred to in the text.
    • The citations and references should be in numbering or IEEE format .
  • Submission:

    • Manuscripts can be submitted online through the journal's website.
    • The manuscript should be accompanied by a cover letter that includes the author names, affiliations, and contact information.
    • The cover letter should also state the type of manuscript (original research, review article, or letter to the editor).
  • Peer Review:

    • All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
    • The reviewers will assess the originality, significance, and clarity of the manuscript.
    • The editor will make a decision on whether to accept, reject, or revise the manuscript based on the reviewers' reports.
  • Publication:

    • Accepted manuscripts will be published online ahead of print.
    • The final version of the manuscript will be published in a print issue of the journal.

Individuals have the right to access, rectify, or delete their personal information held by NJSTR, subject to applicable laws and regulations. Requests for exercising these rights should be directed to the journal's editorial office.

Changes to the Privacy Statement

JSTR reserves the right to modify or update this privacy statement at any time. Any changes will be posted on the journal's website, and we encourage individuals to review the statement periodically.
