Aims & Scope

The NIPES - Journal of Science and Technology Research is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Nigerian Institution of Professional Engineers & Scientists (NIPES) (Online-ISSN 2682-5821, Print-ISSN 2734-2352). It is an open-access publication dedicated to disseminating cutting-edge research across all disciplines of science and technology. Published quarterly in February, May, August, and November, our journal provides a prestigious platform for researchers, scientists, and scholars to share groundbreaking work and foster intellectual discourse.

Aim

The journal aims to serve as a leading platform for researchers, scientists, and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to disseminate their innovative work and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge. The journal strives to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange across its focus areas.

Scope

The journal welcomes submissions of original research articles, reviews, and perspectives spanning the following topics:

  • Engineering: Civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, biomedical, aerospace, materials engineering
  • Physical Sciences: Physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science
  • Life Sciences: Biology, biochemistry, genetics, biotechnology, ecology

Authorship Criteria

  • The journal considers only original, unpublished work for publication.
  • Multiple/redundant submissions of the same research to other journals are not permitted.
  • All listed authors must have made significant intellectual contributions to the research.
  • By submitting a manuscript to this journal authors automatically affirm that they have no conflicts of interest that may inappropriately influence or bias their work, unless explicitly declared otherwise. If any potential conflicts of interest exist, authors must disclose them in the cover letter upon submission.
